Charles River Fall 2006

Kevin, Ellen and I this fall on the Charles River. What a beautiful day it was!! One last trip for the season! The three of us hadn't done this for such a long, long time!

Here I am ready to go under the Harvard bridge. I can remember back in 1991 when I'd walk along the river to get some fresh air and exercise - a little respite form the books! How I wished that someday I could kayak or canoe down the Charles! -only 15 years later - here I am with my brother and sister in kayaks! Who would have "thunk!"

That day we traveled from the Auburn Hospital down past Harvard, Boston University and MIT all the way to the hat shell. It was a nice trip.
